What if you can not grasp "honor your father and mother"?

sweetie, u have to honor them and love them because no matter what, they r still ur parents ;) i have had my experience with my father. it was hard at first but i asked help from the Holy Spirit on how i can overcome the hatred i felt for my father, and thank God, everything is ok now. forgive them and forget the wrongs that they have done. i am glad that u are a Catholic too, like me.
