For women who bash "speedos", what type of swimsuit do you wear? Why?

It seems 9 out of 10 women in North America hate men wearing speedos, even if the man feels they are more comfortable and practical for swimming and related activities. So I have to ask for those women what do they personally prefer and why. BTW, I don't need to know your reasons for opposing speedos - I've heard them all and they are usually exaggerated and shallow.
