i recently obtained a breeding pair of blue and gold macaws. The woman i purchased it from said they have been on a diet of 3/4 seed 1/4 pellets plus fruits and veggies. From what ive read it should be the opposite, 3/4 pellets 1/4 seed. They are proven pair and produce every year 3 chicks a clutch so i dont want to risk losing that by a diet change. Anyone have experience in this type of situation?
