Has anyone gone armadillo hunting before? I mean with a baseball bat?

I grew up on The Space coast in Florida and we used to all pile in a car and head out towards the Cape late at nite on those deserted roads, pitch black...you'd eventually see an armadillo in the road and sometimes they'd just stare at the lights and not move...we'd slam on the brakes and jump out trying to whack it with our bats...don't worry we never killed one...btw when you hit one they jump straight into the air about 3 feet high....then hall *** when their little feet hit the ground...tough little buggers
